Tribute Programs

Saint Francis University offers several opportunities to memorialize or honor a loved one or simply reflect your loyal support for Saint Francis University. There are four distinct programs designed to meet our donors’ wishes and to enhance Saint Francis University.

Memorial Bench

The memorial bench program offers the opportunity to recognize an individual or individuals with the distinctive placement of an elegant bench on the Saint Francis Campus. The bench will include a bronze plaque inscribed with an appropriate citation. Donors consult with the University’s Office of Advancement and Landscape Department to determine the location of the bench, and the landscaping design surrounding the bench. Benches have been purchased to honor or remember family, loved ones, classmates, faculty members and other sources of inspiration. Our benches are located throughout campus and contribute to the beauty of Saint Francis University’s campus. The cost of the memorial bench is $5,000.

Memorial Tree

The memorial tree program provides an opportunity for a tree to be planted on campus in the name of a special person in your life. Many planting sites for a wide variety of trees are available throughout campus. A member of our landscaping staff and our advancement staff will help you select a tree and planting site. A brass plaque inscribed with the appropriate citation will be placed at the base of the tree. If the tree dies within two years of planting, it will be replaced at no cost. The cost of a memorial tree is $1,000.

Memorial Book

The memorial book program provides another distinct opportunity to recognize a special individual. Donors, with the assistance of a member of our library staff and our advancement staff, select a book of their choice that is then added to the collections of the Pasquerilla Library. An attractive book plate with an appropriate inscription is placed on the inside cover. The cost of a memorial book begins at $50 depending on the style of the book selected.

Memorial Locker

The memorial locker program for the DeGol Field House, new home to our football and lacrosse programs, offers our donors an opportunity to recognize a former Saint Francis University athlete, coach or loved one, and at the same time leaves a lasting reminder of their involvement with Saint Francis University Athletics. An attractive plaque, located in the locker room, of the DeGol Field House, lists names of those individuals being recognized. The cost of a memorial locker is $1,500.
