Research Application - For those students who DO NOT have a secured summer research position with a summer research mentor. Research Registration - For those students who DO have a secured summer research position with a summer research mentor. Summer science research at SFU is a wonderful way to enhance your educational experience, gain valuable academic knowledge and research techniques, make connections with course work and actually be a part of creating and developing knowledge that can contribute to future studies for years to come! The number of slots available to students each year varies, but all students are encouraged to apply for summer research. Most research lasts 8 weeks, beginning in mid-May and concluding in early July. Research students are required to develop a research poster and present it during the summer research symposium. Spend a summer at the SFU campus this summer, and gain valuable experiences for life.
