Drop 10 IN 10 (Employees, students, and general public) THIS IS A NEW PROGRAM!
This is an exciting 10-week guided weight management and healthy lifestyle program designed to help you lose 10 pounds or 10 percent of your weight. Losing 10 percent of your weight can help you reduce the risk or improve the management of chronic diseases associated with excess weight. When you join Drop 10 in 10, you'll get all the tools needed to help you make healthy, realistic and lasting changes that work for your lifestyle. Open to faculty, staff, students and the general public. There is a $16 materials fee for Highmark members and students. Non-Highmark participants will be assessed a fee of $101.

Diabetes Awareness and Prevention (Employees, students, and general public) THIS IS A NEW PROGRAM!
A group-based program designed to help participants establish healthy habits and help prevent or manage diabetes and its complications.
Dates: Saturdays, April 17, 24, 31, May 8
Time: 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
Discover Relaxation Within I (Employees, students and general public)
Learn to manage every-day stress through practical relaxation techniques and innovative stress management strategies. From coping skills, to visualization, to progressive muscle relaxation and humor therapy, you will acquire effective tools to deal with stress.
Dates: April 12, 19, 26, May 3
Time: 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Discover Relaxation Within II (Employees, students and general public)
A four-week lifestyle improvement program that is a continuation of Discover Relaxation Within I. Learn to manage everyday stress through practical relaxation techniques and innovative stress management strategies.
Dates: May 10, 17, 24, 31
Time: 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Open to faculty, staff, students and the general public. There is no fee for Highmark members or students, and a nominal fee for non-Highmark members.
Clear the Air (Employees, students and general public)
Are you thinking about quitting smoking? Clear the Air is the step you take before deciding to quit tobacco. This session empowers you to identify your reasons for quitting and gives you the tools you need to quit for good!

HOPE (Highmark Osteoporosis Prevention and Education Program)

Develop stronger bones for a lifetime! This take-action lifestyle improvement program focuses on making healthy choices to improve bone health and prevent or manage osteoporosis.
Dates: April 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13, 20
Time: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Location: DiSepio Institute for Rural Health and Wellness, SFU Campus

Personal Nutrition Coaching (Employees, students and general public)
A personalized program designed by a registered dietitian to address the needs of an individual seeking nutrition counseling related to weight management, heart health or diabetes. Private one-on-one sessions offered year round to adults and children. Call for a personalized appointment, (814) 472-2783.
Open to faculty, staff, students and the general public. There is no fee for Highmark members and a nominal fee for non-Highmark members. (Non-Highmark SFU students will be charged a nominal fee for PNC.)
