Ave Maria Hall
Ave Maria Hall is located on the South Side of campus. It houses 42 female students, two resident assistants and the south campus area coordinator. The resident population in Ave is a mixture of juniors, seniors, or those at least 21 years of age.
The first floor features four double-occupancy student apartments – providing residents with means for independent living. The second and third floors host single rooms, with one suite available on each floor. Parking is available behind the hall in a lot shared with other south campus halls – Amici, Giles and St. Louis. Resident rooms facing the parking lot enjoy a spectacular display of the changing seasons, displayed through the tree-laden hills surrounding campus.
Ave Maria features a versatile basement. There is a lounge equipped with cable television, a microwave and plenty of comfortable seating. Attached to the lounge is a kitchen, complete with a seating area for residents who need to satiate an evening snack attack. Across the hall from the kitchen and lounge are a workout room, a piano room, and the laundry facilities. Ave is also home to the chapter room for Gamma Sigma Sigma, a service fraternity.
